In de loop van de komende maanden laat ik al mijn materiaal aan bod komen. Per artikel vertel ik over 1 product. Laat ik dan nu ook beginnen met mijn camera, want daar draait het allemaal om.

Op 23 juli 2010 kocht ik een Nikon D3000, ware het niet dat ik mijn zinnen had gezet op een Canon EOS 1000D. Een geluk of een ongeluk? Maar hij was uitverkocht en het kon een tijdje duren eer hij terug te verkrijgen was. Zo ongeduldig als ik ben moest en zou ik die dag met een reflex camera naar huis gaan. We reden naar een andere winkel, ook daar was Canon uitverkocht maar de verkoper was zo vriendelijk om mij een gelijkaardig model van Nikon te tonen. Ik was verkocht, smeet al mijn geld op tafel en reed dolgelukkig naar huis met een Nikon D3000 en een 18-55mm kitlens met stabilisator! Wauw, want dat ik wel nodig met mijn gebibber en zenuwachtig gedoe.

Nu na acht maanden ben ik nog steeds in de wolken met de beste aankoop van mijn leven. Ik leer elke dag steeds meer, maar stiekem droom ik al van een Nikon D7000. Al zal dat pas voor binnen een jaar of drie, vier zijn. Ik wil eerst investeren in goede lenzen en daarna pas upgraden naar een betere body. Maar eigenlijk is de body niet zo belangrijk en draait het allemaal om het ‘glas’.

In the following months I will describe all my equipment. Per article I tell you about 1 product. So let me start with my camera, because that’s what it’s all about.

On the 23rd July 2010, I bought a Nikon D3000, were it not that I had put my mind on a Canon EOS 1000D. Luckily or not? But he was sold out and it could take a while before he was available again. As impatient as I am I had to go home with a reflex camera that day. We drove to another shop, also there was Canon sold out but the seller was kind enough to show me a similar model of Nikon. I was sold, flung all my money on the table and drove home with a Nikon D3000 and a 18-55 mm kit lens with stabilizer! Wow, because I needed that, while I’m nervous and exited and always shaking J .  

Now after eight months I'm still very happy with the best purchase of my life. I learn more and more every single day, but secretly I’m already dreaming about a Nikon D7000. But this will be for within a year or three, maybe four. I first would like to invest in good lenses and then upgrade to a better body. But actually, the body is not so important and it's all about the ‘glass'.
